Whatever you do, understand that a divorce is a loss and must be treated as such!





One can go through the 6 stages of grief, and bounce back and forth, but the point is be kind and gentle with YOU.


Know that it’s ok to not be ok.


Seek support from family and friends as needed. Be honest with your feelings and emotions.





Initially it will seem that you are in a dark place, but believe me, it gets better and I never wanted to hear that, but somehow it does….


my analogy was standing on the dock and after a while the ship that was once close looks very far away and that’s how you will view your divorce.


I found self care to be healing and self care comes in different sizes and form.



this is the time for you to reinvent you in whatever or however you choose.


and slowly and slowly life is good again….. find your happy… what is your happy now??
